Shades of Grey and Green

Splits of haven in shades of green,
Coloring my view in front of the glass.

Broken glasses threatening me,
Like the gray rain from the other side.

The calming and gentle soil,
Bringing forth the screams of the earth,
Devouring the souls of the unborn,
Watching life grow from the dirt.

Mumbling, expecting,
I am in the grey,
As the pain kisses
My shoulder
Amidst the in-between.

Glare and stare at the fall,
The anguish from below,
A round atrocity
Becoming my sister.
